History. Mineral Pools. Gourmet Dining. Nature
Welcome to The Inn at Warm Springs
Nestled in the heart of Bath County, Virginia, The Inn at Warm Springs is more than just a place to stay—it is a landmark. Since the mid-1800s, this historic site has served as the county's first courthouse and jail. Today, it stands re-imagined as a charming country inn where 19th-century character meets modern-day comfort.
Located directly across from the historic Warm Springs Pools, The Inn at Warm Springs offers an easy escape where the best of Bath County comes together.
Start your morning with freshly brewed coffee and espresso from our Coffee Shop, stroll across the street to soak in the famous natural mineral springs, explore the scenic countryside and local shops, then return for gourmet dinners and handcrafted cocktails at The Tavern.
Whether you're seeking a romantic escape, a historic adventure, or a quiet retreat near the healing waters of the Warm Springs Pools, we invite you to make yourself at home.
Eclectic. Hearty. Homemade
The Tavern
Located in the original 1863 courthouse, The Tavern at the Inn offers a dining experience like no other. Enjoy a menu that blends local Virginia ingredients with classic European favorites like Beef Goulash and Chicken Schnitzel.
Pair dinner with a carefully curated wine list, craft beer, or handcrafted cocktails, and enjoy the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes The Tavern a favorite gathering place for both guests and locals.

Around Our Beautiful Property
While we are located directly across the street, the Inn and the Warm Springs Pools (formerly the Jefferson Pools) are separate entities. The pools are owned and operated by The Omni Homestead Resort. Because the pools are a popular historic site, we recommend booking your soak appointments in advance directly with them.
Yes! One of the best perks of staying with us is our proximity. You can simply walk across the road from the Inn to reach the bathhouses—it is less than a 3-minute stroll from our front door.
The Inn is housed in the original Bath County Courthouse and Jail, built in the mid-1800s.
The main Omni Homestead Resort is located in Hot Springs, just a scenic 5-mile drive (about 10 minutes) south of the Inn. Many guests enjoy staying in the quiet, historic atmosphere of Warm Springs while visiting the resort for golf (Cascades and The Old Course), skiing, or spa treatments.
